There are many other great events held throughout the year between neighbouring cities and towns including; folk, poetry, music, film, comedy and food festivals.

Visit the UK's largest canal restoration project, the Falkirk Wheel which has gained notoriety as an engineering and design wonder. Explore hundreds of hands-on exhibits, live science shows, and interactive wokshops at the Glasgow Science Centre. Experience the magic of its Planetarium and Imax 3D cinema. There is also Edinburgh Zoo, Blair Drummond Safari Park and the Loch Lomond Sea Life Centre and Aquarium, close by.
